A tiki identity for the opening of a seafront cocktail bar: a mask as the mark, blocky lettering and four solid colours.

In 2024 Studio Cosmos designed the visual identity of Cucusettete, a seafront cocktail bar, ahead of its opening. The starting point was tiki imagery: summery, playful, immediate, recognisable at first glance.

The mark is a tiki mask in front of a yellow disc; the wordmark sets the name on two lines in blocky turquoise letters edged in plum. Four solid colours, red, yellow, turquoise and plum, and one simple rule: every element also works on its own, the disc and the mask included.

Repeated on an orange ground, the mask becomes a pattern, the backdrop of the opening announcements; on the T-shirt the wordmark sits small on the chest and the mark large on the back. A light identity that changes scale without losing its character.

  • The first post: the word SABATO in turquoise over the tiki mask pattern on an orange ground, with a turquoise strip at the bottom.
  • The second post: the Cucusettete wordmark over the tiki mask pattern, between the words NEW OPENING and COCKTAIL BAR.
  • The third post: a date in turquoise over the tiki mask pattern on an orange ground, with a turquoise strip at the bottom.

Applications

  • Two white T-shirts on a yellow and red background: one seen from the back with the large mark, the other from the front with the small wordmark on the chest.
