Parrot Store

Parrot Store is a streetwear shop in Locri, with a shop in town and an online store. Studio Cosmos designed its complete mark, symbol and wordmark together, to give the shop one sign that works everywhere, from the online store to its communication.

The symbol is a parrot's head inside an open ring; beneath it, PARROT in full, shapely letters and STORE in narrow, widely spaced capitals. Only three colours, lime, black and white: enough to be recognised, few enough to hold on any ground.

The symbol also works on its own, black on white or on lime, and stays legible even when tiny, as the online store's icon; the complete mark, with the lime parrot and the light lettering, lights up on dark grounds. The same sign is cut into the plate of the sign on the shop front.
